Warner Music Italy says that the structure of its company is “evolving” with the launch of two new frontline labels: Warner Records Italy and Atlantic Records Italy.<\/p>\n
According to WMI, the move, which arrives on its 50th anniversary in the Italian market, will “enable the business to grow with the ever-changing landscape by having a more focused and personalized set of teams that are agile and empowered to capitalize on opportunities for both established artists and emerging talent”.<\/p>\n
Eleonora Rubini<\/strong> has been appointed Label Director of Warner Records Italy, with Leonardo Luan<\/strong> named Head of A&R, Ruth Hagos<\/strong> as Senior A&R Urban, Anna Rampinelli<\/strong> as Head of Marketing, and Sara Daniele<\/strong> as Head of Promotions.<\/p>\n Atlantic Records Italy will be led by Marco Masoli<\/strong> as Label Director, with Filippo<\/strong> Gimigliano<\/strong> as Head of A&R, Riccardo Primavera<\/strong> as Senior A&R Urban, Gianluca<\/strong> Covezzi<\/strong> as Head of Marketing, and Eleonora<\/strong> Bruno<\/strong> as Head of Promotions.<\/p>\n According to Warner, each label has a dedicated Digital Account Manager, an International Project Manager, and various Domestic Project Managers, A&R, and Promotion Managers who report to their respective heads.<\/p>\n The two Label Directors report to the Vice President of WM Italy, Gianluca Guido<\/strong>, who serves as the liaison between the two labels, along with the President of Warner Music Italy, Pico Cibelli<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Alongside this news, ADA Italy<\/strong> has signed an exclusive partnership with Andrea Comi<\/strong> (Attica Music<\/span>) and Davide D\u2019Aquino<\/strong> (Triggger), who has stepped down from his role as Head of ADA Italy.<\/p>\n ADA Italy will continue to handle local distribution, label, and artist services in the market, now under the direction of Renato Tanchis <\/strong>(Director of Catalog, WM Italy & Head of ADA Italy), who will report to Marco Masoli<\/strong>.<\/p>\n According to Warner Music Italy, D\u2019Aquino <\/strong>and Comi<\/strong> “will focus on scouting and artistic development, using the WEA Music Italy brand for their releases, in support of ADA, Atlantic Records and Warner Records”.<\/p>\n WMI added: “Their goal is to strengthen the service offerings for artists and independent labels, further diversifying the portfolio”.<\/p>\n As reported<\/a> in August, recorded music trade turnover in Italy rose 9.7%<\/span><\/strong> YoY<\/strong><\/span> to\u00a0\u20ac208.1 million<\/strong> in H1 2025, with paid streaming subscriptions jumping 12.7% YoY<\/strong><\/span> in the first half of 2025 as local acts dominated the charts.<\/span><\/p>\n “The launch of Warner Records Italy and Atlantic Records Italy is an evolution that strengthens our ability to superserve our artists and connect audiences old and new all over the world.”<\/p>\n Pico Cibelli, Warner Music Italy<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n Pico Cibelli, President, WM Italy, said: “As we celebrate WM Italy\u2019s 50th anniversary, these changes will set up WM Italy for its next chapter.<\/p>\n “The launch of Warner Records Italy and Atlantic Records Italy is an evolution that strengthens our ability to superserve our artists and connect audiences old and new all over the world.<\/p>\n “I have immense confidence in Eleonora, Marco, Renato, and their teams to drive our next era of growth and success.”<\/p>\n “We’re excited to build on the labels\u2019 incredible legacy while creating an environment that champions both established artists and the next generation of Italian talent.”<\/p>\n Eleonora Rubini, Warner Records Italy<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n Eleonora Rubini, Label Director, Warner Records Italy, added: “By establishing these distinct labels, we can offer a more focused approach to artist development.<\/p>\n “We’re excited to build on the labels\u2019 incredible legacy while creating an environment that champions both established artists and the next generation of Italian talent.”<\/p>\n “Our goal is to create a home where creativity thrives and our artists can reach their full potential on the world stage.”<\/p>\n Marco Masoli, Atlantic Records Italy<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n Marco Masoli, Label Director, Atlantic Records Italy, said: “Our goal is to create a home where creativity thrives and our artists can reach their full potential on the world stage. We’re ready to embrace this challenge and work closely with our artists to help them achieve their dreams.”<\/p>\n Elsewhere at Warner Music Group globally, the major music company recently merged<\/a> its Benelux-GSA businesses and named Niels Walboomers as President, with the company’s Central Europe bosses Doreen Schimk & Fabian Drebes exiting.<\/p>\n Over in London, meanwhile, Isabel Garvey recently confirmed<\/a>\u00a0that she will be leaving her role as Chief Operating Officer of London-based\u00a0Warner Music UK<\/a>.<\/p>\n Garvey\u2019s decision to stand down from her role at the end of the year followed the news that Warner\u2019s flagship\u00a0Atlantic<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Warner Records<\/a>\u00a0UK labels will be\u00a0working more closely with<\/a>\u00a0their US counterparts, with UK label heads now reporting to US leadership.<\/p>\n Warner Music UK<\/a>\u2019s other teams, including the shared services that support both labels, will be overseen directly by\u00a0Simon Robson<\/a><\/strong>, President, EMEA, Recorded Music, WMG.<\/p>\n
