Sabrina Carpenter\u2019s seventh studio album, Man\u2019s Best Friend<\/a>, <\/i>has broken the record for the most-streamed album on Spotify in a single day by a female artist this year.<\/p>\n

The achievement was announced by Spotify<\/b> on its social media pages<\/a> on Tuesday (September 2).<\/p>\n

Commenting on the achievement in a post on social media platform X, Carpenter wrote: “I can\u2019t believe this :\u2019) thank you so much for listening.”<\/p>\n

Man\u2019s Best Friend, <\/i>which dropped on Friday (August 29), spent 11 weeks on <\/b>Spotify\u2019s Countdown Page <\/b>ahead of its release.<\/p>\n

Sabrina Carpenter<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The record includes Manchild<\/i><\/b><\/a>, <\/i>which marks Carpenter\u2019s first debut<\/a> at No.1\u00a0 <\/span>on the Billboard <\/i>Hot 100, her second No.1 US hit overall (after Please Please Please<\/em>) and her fourth Hot 100 Top 10.<\/p>\n

The new record follows <\/b>Short n\u2019 Sweet<\/i><\/b>, <\/i>her sixth studio album in 2024 that produced hits like Espresso<\/i><\/b> <\/i>and Please Please Please<\/i><\/b>, <\/i>which both topped the Billboard <\/i>Global 200 chart.<\/p>\n

Short n’ Sweet<\/i> received eight nominations at the 2025 Grammy Awards including Album of the Year.<\/b> It won Best Pop Vocal Album<\/b> and Best Pop Solo Performance<\/b> for Espresso.<\/i><\/i><\/p>\n

The former Disney<\/b> star worked again with producers Jack Antonoff <\/b>and John Ryan<\/b> in Man\u2019s Best Friend, <\/i>blending disco-pop, funk, R&B and synth-rock elements.<\/p>\n
